If so then you probably 'need' more clients. If you are one of the rare practitioners that has enough clients then you want more clients who are 'a perfect match' for you and what you offer, right? The kind of clients that are a genuine pleasure to work with. The ones that are open to your input, ready to take action and get results.
So the million rupiah (local Indonesian currency) question is:
"How do you go about finding more of these 'ideal clients'?"
Well the short answer is that you don't!
I hear you ask.
"Isn't that the the whole point?"
Your 'business coach' said you had to do a whole load of stuff like that, right?
So I hate to break it to you but your 'busyness coach' is just that. Its her job to keep you busy doing stuff!
I'm not sure what kind of a coach I am… Probably a 'courage coach' - I'm the guy who stands next to you while you acknowledge your heart's desires, face your fears and create magic in your world.
So far this week I have enjoyed 3 of the easiest and most powerful coaching sessions I have ever experienced with clients. Three courageous women with deep hearts and big adventures unfolding.
How did this come to be? If I didn't go out and find them then how did we end up working together?
Conventional wisdom would have you setting up your USP (unique selling proposition), deciding on age, gender and other demographics of the 'niche' you want to work with, building your 'brand' and then creating a 'marketing message' to put yourself out there.
Not me! I'm growing and evolving. Getting clearer what I'm even doing here on the Earth. I'm not the same person two days in row… My 'USP' would be out of date as soon as it was written. HA!
I don't have a 'brand'.
I don't have an 'elevator pitch'.
I don't 'do' marketing.
If this stuff is working for you then I'm glad. Really I am.
The marketplace is totally saturated with people just like you offering stuff that is essentially the same as the next one just dressed up slightly different...

If I'm bored then how can I expect my clients to feel excited about us working together?

I've got no idea.
I do my thing. Without apology.
Sometimes I offer stuff.
How I know if someone is my ideal client is 'cause they are standing in front of me saying
"Here I am. I'd like you to help me."
So what if you actually spent more time being yourself?
Jus' doin' your thang. Stuff that no-one else does.
What if you really were unique and you yourself were the 'proposition'? No selling. Just your shining individuality.
