What I witnessed filled me with joy, hope and gratitude. Our human willingness and capacity to do inner work is far greater than we imagine. I supported another group member as she did her work. If felt like I was in the karma gym, spotting my training partner as they lifted more (emotional) weight than I had imagined possible. For me it was like one of those goosebumps moments where you watch someone smashing an olympic record.
I left the workshop with my heart full of awe and wonder.
And several people from the group have mentioned feeling 'flat' after the workshop. I have seen this a lot. When I did the 'Path of Love' process in Australia they even went so far as to forewarn us before the end of the week.
One of the great things about 'waking up' in the spiritual sense is that it is irreversible.
You can't 'unawaken'.
Not if you were truly present to the experience...
It is impossible.
The more we come to know ourselves as infinitely powerful creative and sentient beings the harder it is for us to live small. So much so that occupying a lower vibration becomes painful to the soul.
We have been programmed to resonate with fear, guilt and shame. So much so that we don't even realise! We are conditioned to believe this to be 'normal' and we numb ourselves to the pain of it so end up feeling very little inside.
It is easier to experience our essential selves in the workshop environment. With a powerful intention, a supportive environment and the cour-age to feel, we taste our inner freedom. Often for the first time! This is how we heal our wounds.
Or as the saying goes:
"We need to feel
in order to heal."
... but that is not actually true!
The MEMORY lingers.
The TASTE is still there in your cellular memory...
You REMEMBER more of who you are
The painful experiences of sadness, aloneness, worthlessness and hopelessness are a powerful and an essential part of the journey. They show us that our system will no longer accept fear vibrations without a fight. Once you have seen some of your own light your spirit demands to shine more brightly and be seen.
So feel the pain. Dive deeply into it. Hold yourself lovingly and compassionately as you do so. Keep breathing. Immerse yourself so deeply that you fall through the bottom and out the other side where you dissolve into your bliss.
Only you can do this work. No-one else.
And if you would like me to hold you in a space of loving kindness while you unfold then I am available.
Just drop me a line...
Oh and if you are in Bristol and would like to learn how to open, listen to, follow, and communicate from your heart then you should come to the next taster evening for Heart-IQ on Friday 12th Dec with Hils.
I'll see you there!
